Performance of ‘All the Beast’ at Solstice Art Centre Navan, at opening of Zoología Fantástica group exhibition, curated by Sabina McMahon, February 2018.

This work, (also previously discussed in the ‘Art’ section), is a performative lecture composed of transcripts of David Attenborough documentaries. The text is re-edited, removing the names of the animals to create a poetic confusion, a ‘rewilding’ of language, a comment on the authority of language and delivery. In this performance, the lecture is delivered as a guided tour through the other artworks. Extract below.
