All the Beast is a performative lecture that was included as part of Overstock performative lecture series curated by Jennie Taylor, that took place in MART gallery in Rathmines, Dublin between April and June 2015. On the first night, in which All the Beast was performed there were also performances by Ella de Burca, Brenda Kearney and Jane Locke.
All the Beast was created from transcripts of documentaries on mammals by David Attenborough. This text was then re-edited to 'rewild' the structured language of the nature documentary and produce poetic and ambiguous meanings for the listener. The text is delivered as a lecture with an Attenborough-esque style.
It has since been performed at the International Literary Festival event 'Art and Words' in Dublin in association with Gorse journal, at 'Proposition, An Art of Ethics' in the Burren College of Art (2016) and in Solstice Art Centre for the opening of 'Zoologia Fantastica' exhibition, (2018).
