This Time Tomorrow I Sang (2012) is a performance/installation that explores crossovers between art and music, both in the multidisciplinary practice of the artist and that of The Joinery itself as a gallery/music venue.
'Using the format of a gig as a starting point, the performance took place, not within the standard time/place setting of a music event, but within the framework of the gallery. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, sculptural remnants were left within the gallery space as traces of previous performative acts.
Walsh’s performance and sculptural constructs uses the language of music in an attempt to undermine established order or control, to deterritorialize the gallery space, through sound.'
